New Mechanics

  • Limit Break – Creatures with Limit Break get a bonus ability or power boost if you've taken 5 or more damage this turn.

  • Summon – A twist on token generation: play powerful Eidolons (like Shiva, Ifrit, Bahamut) that enter with a unique "Invocation" trigger.

  • Job Class – A new subtype that interacts with gear and spells. Knights, Thieves, Mages, and Summoners get unique tribal synergies.

  • Crystarium – A new mana subtype (Crysta) that can be spent only on multicolor or legendary spells, reflecting FF’s crystal-based power systems.

Legendary Heroes & Villains

  • Cloud Strife, SOLDIER of Fate – Double strike, Limit Break: Omnislash.

  • Terra Branford, Magicborn – A mono-green/red planeswalker who transforms into an Esper.

  • Noctis Lucis Caelum – A teleporting royal knight with Summon synergy.

  • Sephiroth, Angel of One-Winged Dread – Flying, menace, enters with three Feather counters—one removed per spell countered.

  • Y'shtola, Master of the Weave – Blue/green tempo control with unique “Weave” spells.
